The Earth Day Experience:

Enjoy an evening of honeybee-inspired film, food and spirits. Get a taste of the natural, gastronomic genius of honeybees through mouth-watering tapas paired with an organic wine tasting, delicious and refreshing VeeV Acai cocktails, and a selection of decadent and healthy desserts.

About The Chef:

Chef Jonathan comes from an Italian food-worshipping family. He is wild about food &  nature, which is a perfect combination for an Earth Day culinary experience. He studied at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in 2007 and since then has worked at many farm-to-table & vegan restaurants around the country. He is formerly of Pure Food & Wine in N.Y, and Sublime and Om Garden in South Florida.

Chef Jonathan spent a season learning how to grow food in the farms of Homestead, Florida and says, “To grow food is the most amazing and empowering thing a person can do to become more in touch with Mother Nature, the real top chef.” Chef Jonathan will be serving up locally-harvested, organic honeybee-inspired gourmet delights. Sweet pleasure for your palate that you won’t want to miss.

About The Film:

From filmmakers George Langworthy and Maryam Heinen, “Vanishing of the Bees” follows commercial beekeepers David Hackenberg and David Mendes as they strive to keep their bees healthy and fulfill pollination contracts across the U.S. The film explores the struggles they face as the two friends plead their case in Washington, D.C. and travel across the world in the quest to protect their honeybees. Film running time is 90 minutes.

A percentage of the profits of this Earth Day Event will go to the Save The Honeybee Foundation.

We cordially invite you to discover the natural flavors of Essensia, at The Palms Hotel & Spa, as celebrity Chef Frank Jeannetti welcomes Spring with a passionate gourmet menu using fresh and local ingredients.

Join us on Tuesday,  April 12th, at 7:30 p.m. at 3025 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, for a delicious ocean-breeze dinner at the restaurant’s pool terrace.

“With a long track record creating exceptional green and organic dishes, Jeannetti’s cuisine extracts a kaleidoscope of flavors from local, seasonal, sustainable and organic ingredients, creating a fresh and wholesome food concept, set to revive your senses.”
